For larger furnaces, our side barrier consists of three concentric layers, each 40 mm thick, providing superior insulation:
Inner barrier – 40 mm
Middle barrier – 40 mm
Outer barrier – 40 mm
The barriers are separated by 5 mm gaps to accommodate thermal expansion and further reduce heat transfer. They are protected by a stainless steel shell and paired with a tungsten barrier (3–7 mm thick) for enhanced mechanical strength and durability.
